The Northern Vietnam Adventure Loop

The engines roar to life as the group leaves Hanoi and heads toward Moc Chau. The scenery shifts gradually from urban streets to open valleys and green plateaus. Arrive at Moc Chau, where nature unfolds right outside your doorstep. In the evening, enjoy traditional performances of the local Thai ethnic community, including singing, dancing, and cultural stories passed down for generations.

Ride deeper into the Northwest mountains, passing winding roads and towering cliffs. Mu Cang Chai welcomes you with its iconic terraced fields, one of Vietnam's most breathtaking landscapes.

Start the day by conquering Khau Pha Pass, one of the great four passes of Vietnam. Continue toward O Quy Ho Pass, towering, dramatic, and one of the most challenging routes for any ADV rider. Visit the glass bridge and the stunning Oolong tea hills, where green waves of tea stretch across the mountain slopes.

A long yet rewarding day of riding. The route winds through Hoang Su Phi, home to the largest and most impressive rice terraces in Southeast Asia. Continue to the high-altitude Suoi Thau grasslands, a vast open plateau above 1,000 meters, often wrapped in mist and rolling clouds. Arrive in Ha Giang as the sun begins to set, painting the mountains with golden light.

One of the most iconic riding days of the entire loop. Follow the legendary Happiness Road carved by tens of thousands of local hands. Conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, the "King of Mountain Passes", with jaw-dropping views overlooking the emerald Nho Que River.

Descend from the karst mountains into the lush forests of Ba Be National Park. Settle into a resort, where you can enjoy the quiet beauty of the lake and the surrounding forest. Optional: Take a serene boat trip across Ba Be Lake to experience local village life and limestone landscapes.

Your final riding day. Cruise from Ba Be's serene forests back toward urban Hanoi. Upon arrival, check in at Hanoi Hotel, a luxurious retreat overlooking West Lake, perfect for unwinding after a week of adventure. Enjoy a relaxing final evening before departure.
